Annette Horn, photographer
“One of the things which is important to me, through my photography, is to ‘invite’ people to view things differently - to offer a different vision of things, of the world, and to show that there are other worlds, and something beyond that which one can see with the eye, something beyond what is concrete. If I have an exhibition, of course it’s great to sell some work, but what I like particularly is if I notice that a change takes place in somebody, that they are uplifted or have gone into resonance with something within themselves (with soul), through looking at a photograph. Then, I know that I am doing the right thing. I almost want to use the word success, but it’s not a matter of being successful - I suppose I mean being a channel, and it being noticed by somebody.”
